Our Murfreesboro Story
Compra Moves has deep roots in Middle Tennessee, and when our founder saw the explosive growth happening in Murfreesboro, we knew we had to be here to help. Starting with that same one-truck promise in 2015, we treat every move like it's our own family heading down Old Fort Parkway or out to Blackman. Today, we're still a small, locally owned team that knows Rutherford County like the back of our hand-from dodging campus traffic near MTSU to navigating the new developments in Indian Hills and Overall Creek.
Neighborhoods & Areas We Love Serving
Gateway District
Bustling entry points with fresh retail spots and growing homes-we're used to the construction and quick-turn access that comes with these up-and-coming corridors.
Blackman
Peaceful, family-focused spot with great schools and newer subdivisions. Quiet streets and community feel make it a favorite for folks settling in Rutherford County.
Indian Hills
Established neighborhood with that classic Murfreesboro charm, golf course nearby, and solid traditional homes. We know the layout and love helping families stay or relocate here.
Overall Creek / Three Rivers
Scenic spots with newer builds, community amenities, and those creek-side views. Navigating the expanding roads and outdoor appeal is second nature for our crew.

Locally owned. 'Boro proud. Ready for your Murfreesboro move.
Why Murfreesboro is Booming (And Why We're Ready)
With its top-ranked schools, affordable housing, proximity to Nashville, and MTSU driving steady influx, Murfreesboro continues to rank among the fastest-growing cities in the nation. The population has surged past 170,000 in recent estimates, with Rutherford County now one of Tennessee's biggest. New families arrive daily into neighborhoods like Blackman, Indian Hills, and the expanding Gateway and Overall Creek/Three Rivers areas. We've been part of this growth since the beginning-whether it's a quick local shift from downtown to Three Rivers, a move into a new Blackman subdivision, or relocating from Nashville into Murfreesboro. Our small crew knows the traffic patterns, construction hotspots, best loading times, and shortcuts to make sure your move stays smooth and stress-free.
